Heddon Lures are undeniably the most sought after and collectable fishing lures among lure enthusiasts today. James Heddon, along with his sons, began making the now famous Heddon lure back in 1902 in Dowagiac, Michigan...hence the "Dowagiac" label attributed to many of the vintage lures. The James Heddon Lure Company was eventually sold to EBSCO and production continues to this day.
